If you have small amounts of embroidery thread left, use them for
decorative stitches on your machine to enhance an embroidery design.
For example, just two or three lines of different colors under a
design can add a lot of interest. Or use them to practice free motion
stitching. Get a plain piece of fabric and using different colors,
stitch free motion all over. (you could just put straight rows spaced .
5 to 1" apart) Then use this as the background for an embroidery
design.
