With gift season fast approaching try *assembly line stitching*. I
learned this from my Mom, a seamstress. We used to cut out several
garments. Then I'd stitch the straight seams and hand them to her to
press, she'd give them back - you get the idea. With embroidery,
prepare fabric for several projects - cut your stabilizer, etc. If you
have more than one hoop, actually hoop them. Then while the embroidery
stitches, work on cutting out other fabric you will need, then do the
regular stitching on all projects at the same time, press them all,
etc. You will be amazed at the time you can save! And if you have a
stitcher friend close by, invite her for over for real assembly line
sewing.
