Don't be afraid to mix crafts in your projects - a little fabric paint
or Angelina fibers as background for your embroidery, or beads,
crystal, embroidery thread, or other fibers for embellishment after
you've stitched your design can make your project come alive. Start
small with just a few touches until you're comfortable.

*WINDOWS ON THE WORLD - US* This is the first in a series of window
sets that will depict countries all over the world. Our Yahoo group
helped develop this idea! We started at home first (the US) and will
branch out as we find appropriate photographs and artwork for other
countries. It was also suggested on the group that instead of wall
hangings or pictures, these designs could be used to make a *travel*
quilt - either places you've been or those you would love to see.
*QUILT IN THE HOOP CHRISTMAS STOCKING IV* Babies first Christmas with
versions for boys or girls or both. You also can choose a puppy or a
kitten. And the lettering can be changed to ad your child's name, or
other Christmas greeting. The back is plain stippled designs which
could be used with an elegant silk and metallic thread for a very
fashionable stocking in itself!
*SUNFLOWERS AND FINCHES - DESIGNS* Designs taken from the Window
version with many modified and added.
*WINDOW - THE BATTLE* by Fred A horse and Dragon do battle across a
wide short window.
*QUILT IN THE HOOP CHRISTMAS STOCKING III* A boot complete with sole
for a real three dimensional stocking. Lots of options!
