The November/December 2008 issue of Creative Machine Embroidery,
received today, includes a CD with an "Evaluation Edition" of Creative
DRAWings V4. An accompanying flyer describes it as a "Free Demo Copy:

I haven't installed it; it isn't clear just what this version can do
or what are its limitations. My GUESS is that it lets you go through
the whole design or digitizing process but won't actually produce a
useable design file. It DOES say that it can export SVG or bitmap
graphics, and it contains 200 different designs, each in a variety of
formats.

I have the DRAWings V3 and found it to be MUCH better than other
digitizing programs.
I am not sure if it is the same with V4 or not but it does require
that you have Corel Draw installed as well because it is actually sort
of a glorified plug-in for that program.

I'll have to check out the v4 though, I didn't know it had been
released.]
