Designer SE sewing and embroidery times dietpro 11-02-2008

Does anyone out there know how to access the sewing and embroidery times
on the Designer SE? Not the project timer that can be reset under the
tools but the permanent actual sewing time and embroidery time.
I know I can cart it off to a Viking dealer but that is not easy for me to
do.
The closest dealer is over 75 miles away and I have to rely on other
people for transportation. I reset the project timer by mistake and can't
get it back. The only other option is the perminate timers for the info I
need.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know nothing about Viking machines, but there is a website for owners.
Why not check it out, or give your dealer a phone call and discuss it with
him/her? My dealer is very helpful when I have a question, or maybe,
yours has an e-mail address, and you can just send a note.

I just saw this done two days ago while mine was being inspected for
repair. The permanent numbers are accessed under the repair menu that can
be brought up by pressing and holding two buttons at the same on the panel.

Sadly, I did not make a note of which two buttons it was but I believe it
was a combo of ``Stop`` and one of the other buttons on the right. I know
this may not be terribly helpful, but with a little tinkering I imagine
you can find the combination.
