Dottie may have just got here, I don't know that.

That's a little rough!
It's not "convenient" to forget the old operating systems. It's just a
shock when you are forced to buy Vista and it's CRAP!!
Dottie has software dating back to 2000 .... I still have my Version 5
disks (and they are floppies), and the VIP. It doesn't sound like she
has had to have the "latest and greatest" for a long time.
Yeah... I knoowwww..... if we wanna use the old stuff we have to know
what it works on and how long the shelf life is ......../sigh.....
It's just that a Model T Ford is still driveable, nobody has come up
with a better mouse trap either....why just make computer people's
lives miserable by changing the format so radically?!
Software now has a use by date that hasn't become apparent until the
last few years.
It's just more ways to make you have to part with your money.
Your "buyer beware" (my Latin is rusty - caveat emptor?) warnings are
never more so relevant as now. Sewing software purchased for $1000's
of dollars has a computer life of how long now? Who knows until
Microslop decide to change the rules. And change them they will.

And you think Microslop Megadollars Corp are listening to the
plebs.....??
roflmao!!
Husqvarna went ballistic over the hasp conflict on version 3D with XP
- and there are STILL conflicts with 4D and Vista.
Microslop gave them the "bird".
