I have a new Husqvarna Viking Designer 1. Looking for Basic quilting
embroidery patterns. Can anyone help. Viking Husqvarna dealers want
$105.00 for a set of their patterms.

Congratulations!! I love my Designer1 and I got mine the second year they
were on the market. Do you have the program to convert designs and put them
on a disc? If so try AnnTheGran http://annthegran.com/index_search.htm
So far I've had very good luck with her free designs and she has plenty that
have a running theme you could use on a quilt. There's lots of free patterns
on the internet.

search4designs.com is a great search engine for free designs. I have
found a lot of specific patterns that I have needed over the years.
Annthegran.com has a lot. I very seldom have to buy designs. Have found
a ton of free ones online
