Generally accepted usage would call these "embroidery alphabets" or
"sets of alphabet designs".
The term "font" is usually reserved for either computer fonts such as
truetype, type 1, or opentype, or for proprietary format files that
function as keyboardable fonts in specific programs such as Embird or
Viking/Pfaff embroidery software.
