Just wanted to update everybody. I chickened out and didn't bid on the
machine! Oh well. I will just do with what I have until the right machine
comes along. Maybe I'll visit my local dealer and see what they have.

Thanks for all your advice,
Cookie

What did it go for? Just curious. It is an older machine, so you may
have better luck at the dealers. When I went looking for a bit bigger
hoop I jumped the Pfaff ship and purchased a Janome 300e. Love it and
it was a cinch to learn to use. I still sell Pfaff but become more
disillusioned every day with them. Singer seems to be doing a better
job getting us what we need, but the quality of the machines is just
not there anymore. I hope they will bring out some NEW one soon, we
have had nothing even marginally new for about 10 years now.
