Val,
I appreciate your input to my request for help in this software
creation. And I can understand your skeptism at thinking I'm trying
to pawn my warez. I spend alot of time in newsgroups and I know all
about the spammer. That is why I use the name Braves Fan. I happen
to live in the Atlanta area and I enjoy the Atlanta Braves. I choose
to attempt to remain anonymous as possible. I am not trying to sell
software or push software here or any other news. I did post this
message in two newsgroups. Only because I thought the people in these
groups would be of help. My husband owns his own business selling
anesthesia billing software. And he's very successful at it. He'll
know how to market and sell this product if we decide to sell it. I
am a stay at home mom. I took my favorite pass time of embroidery and
turned it into a home business of making baby items to sell on ebay.
And no, I don't sell under Braves Fan. I even have my own web store.
And it doesn't have anything about being a Braves Fan either. I do it
because I love to do it and to supply my thread and fabric habit. I
was trying to organize the total chaos I have in my sewing studio and
was very excited about the prospect of having the software to keep
track of my fabric. I have to scan all my fabrics to put on ebay, so
I have them anyway. I have accidently posted items I didn't have when
I thought I did. This software is of benefit to me. I'm not a miser,
or a anything you attempted to make me out to be in your post. I
apoligize if I've offended you or anyone else in the two groups I
posted my questions to. I had NO intention of attempting to sell this
software in either of the groups. I know it's not allowed and cause
for a good flaming. However, I didn't think just asking for advice
would get me the same response.

Still a Braves Fan!

No skepticism, nor 'skeptism', was expressed in any way "at thinking" about
you, "pawning your warez" or wares.

All this time in newsgroups and you know only of one spammer?

~snipped for the humane sake brevity~.

My dear Ms. Braves Fan,

I have not accused you of trying to sell anything nor has anyone "flamed
you". You asked for input; this usually alludes to requesting personal
opinions and/or advise of those whom you are asking.

My opinions were prefaced with an explanatory disclaimer of said statements
being *only* of my opinion, to wit:
"Now this is just my **VERY** personal opinion mind you..."
"....JMVHO, of course." JMVHO=Just My Very Humble Opinion
"it is only of my opinion..."
........and so on.

I did NOT call you a miser. I expressed my personal opinion that segments
of this yet to be developed program could *in my personal opinion* possibly
emulate miserly behavior. I also never attempted to make you out to be
anything at all, I was simply answering your request and giving you the
reasons for my opinions.

I also mentioned that there were numerous programs on the market that are
doing the same thing (and a few even moderately succeeding) as yours still
in the R&D (research & development) stages of a not so unique idea. I also
expressed *my opinion* as to why I wouldn't bother using any of these
programs, not just singling out yours. No flaming was involved in any of the
opinions of this poster. Nor was the "NON-inflammatory" answering post of
Emily's who POLITELY suggested that if you do or do not meet certain
criteria regarding your post in this newsgroup, go peddle your wagon
elsewhere.

Val
