Youth mach. embrider at Mi. State Fair

I just wanted to let you all know that a category of competition /
exhibition was just added this year for youth ages 9-13 and 14-18 for
Machine Embroidery at the Michigan State Fair.
Anything from clothing to pillowcases can be embroidered.
If there are enough entries....hopefully they will add it as an adult
division next year.
It only costs $6 for up to 10 entries and each entrant gets two (2)
FREE Admission Tickets.
If you are taking a Sewing Class....your teacher can enter up to 15
Exhibits FREE....and each participant still gets 2 FREE Tickets.
Let's get the Youth sewing .....Mentor Them & Enter Them!
I am looking forward to the BEST Youth Exhibits this year!
Deadline for entry is Aug. 1st.

That is so cool, I wish they would do that in my area. When I did
embroidery a few years back and had more time to put into I did a craft show
and the lady next to me informed me it wasn't a craft b/c the machine did
the work. I sold a lot of the 7 lighthouses in NC that I had digitized from
our own vacation pictures. The machine did not just digitize and test
those. Can you tell I must not have got over that yet. LOL!!
