G'day Kirsten
The cardboard sides are easily peeled off if your machine doesn't like
them, I do this all the time. I just checked a US seller who I bought
heaps and heaps of coloured prewounds from but she doesn't have any
listed at the moment, although it might not hurt to send an email and ask!
Her prices can't be beaten...and I have absolutely NO affiliation, other
than being a highly, satisfied customer. Even with postage from the US
to Australia her prices were the best I could find, anywhere.

These bobbins are mostly Coats, but some are Robinson & Anton. I have no
preference for either and both of my embroidery machines produce great
results with prewounds. The colours are great where you see the reverse
side, particularly bath towels and the like. They make lovely fine lace
too!!
Hope this helps?
Bronwyn ;-)
