I think it's not due until mid October to us poor subscribers. The ornie
issue is the Nov/Dec one.....
Didn't use to be a separate issue from the bimonthly...

My LNSs say "not yet". They've been saying early September all along,
and a slight delay from that is not unprecedented.

I've heard different things different places (aka blogs, message boards).
Out to shops in September, newsstands in October, mailed in October....
Don't know what to believe.
Last year, I ended up calling in late November and was told that my zip code
was the last batch mailing and I should see it in a week or two.

From my publishing experience, I can only tell you that it's very
normal for the stitching shops to get it well before the newsstand.
Shops are probably mailed via UPS or similar carrier directly from the
printer as soon as it's run; distribution to bookstores goes via a
different method, and it's typical for a three-week lapse between
printing and "on-sale" newsstand date.
