I wandered through a pricey gift shop and spied two throw pillows with
needlepoint centers. Picking them up for a closer look, I saw not one
or two but many glaring omissions of not just a stitch, but whole
areas of five and six stitches missing - the canvas was rather
apparent. Who is doing this stuff - the legally blind? I asked the
clerk if it they were on sale, and as I expected, she replied "No",
like I was crazy. I said "Well, I doubt these'll ever sell (69
dollars each on the tag) and pointed out all the 'holidays." Said
"I'll give you 20 for the two", knowing full well what the answer
would be. I planned to take apart, and in my stash, was sure I could
fill in the holes. I can't see how they ever passed any inspection
and how the proprietor didn't notice either. Appalling, the goods
which are finding a way to market. No country of origin on a tag,
either. Rant over.

Most likely done by little fingers in the east, not to be purchased in
any circumstances.

Little fingers in the East might depend on that buy ... I know this is
an almost ancient debate ,, If we buy this stuff they will need more
and have more children or women working for them ,, but if we do not
buy , Children and women will be thrown onto the streets and starve
,,, If somebosy is willing to do it , that someone needs the few cents
they get ,,,,,,

Believe me, if you saw these pillows, there'd be no dilemma.
