Hello,
Any recommendation for cross-stitch sofware that runs on Win-XP?
Also, any software that generates 20x20 squares per inch for use in
cross-stitch?
TIA

PatternMaker by Hobbyware will do both. I think most programs will.,
it's just that I've not used them. I've tried a couple of other
programs, but always go back to PatternMaker.

I`ve been using ILSoft`s Premium Plus 2000 for YEARS - excellent programme,
and you can pick which grid details you like.

You don't want it to print out at that scale, I can assure you! But
Hobbyware's PatternMaker lets you select whatever fabric count you
want.

i recently spent a couple of weeks digging through the features of various
stitching s/w programs and when it came down to it, I went back* to
Hobbyware's Pattern Maker. Excellent interface, many capabilities. For now
I have the "standard" version and when my life settles down i plan to
upgrade to the professional version.
* i bought the original Win3.1 version many years ago.
