Count me green with envy! I've always wanted to see them. Are they
still adopting them out?

They still do the pony penning and auction every year. We avoid that
weekend!

Vacation doesn't come till Sept. Managed to get
all but the metallic done on "The Bookshelf."
Then I need to decide what to start next that
will travel well to Maine. The lighting isn't great
in the cottage so it will have to be something
not too involved.

I was all set to divide the iris but then more rain
arrived. That seems to be the norm for this
year. Cool and rainy.

We'll be on Mt. Desert Island not far from Southwest Harbor.
DM and DF went there almost every year for about 25 yearrs.
DM just loves Acadia National Park.

DM, DB and I will be coming from Pittsburgh. If it was just
me (and my car, not DBs) I'd probably swing over your way
on the way up or back. We usually wing it when deciding
where we stop and usually end up in Portland the second
night.
