Yet another *canvas virgin* signing in :o)
As I'm in England, I was assuming that I'd have to kit up whatever design is
chosen.
If there are any special threads that I can't find here, would those who are
experienced be willing to advise alternatives ?

Absolutely. I think most of these are just Perle cotton, and an overdyed
Perle. You should be able to get Watercolors there, and we could always
send you a skein - couldn't be that much postage! You'll have no problem
getting stretcher bars and canvas in England.
