Just finished Amy Mitten's Tudor Rose Mystery Sampler.
http://www.wyndhamneedleworks.com/Amy_Mitten_Design/tudor_rose.html
I 'cheated' in that I had all seven parts, and reorganized them so that
I could stitch from the bottom to top. Originally it was organized so
you stitched the first band at the bottom and then jumped to the top.
Even with careful gridding I worried that I would be out somewhere, so I
put them in the order they appeared on the sampler when complete.
It was an interesting sampler to do since I had never done any
needlelace, and there were lots of interesting stitches to try.
I also completed a little stumpwork piece which was a class at Guild.
We did padded and raised strawberry covered with needlelace, separate
stuffed strawberry which was stitched separately and them attached
strawberry, a leaf on a slip, and the background stems, leaves and
strawberry blossom.

I really like the Amy Mitten piece. And I agree, I'd wait until I had all
the pieces too for fear I'd be off someplace. (kind of like I am on my
beaded band sampler, but it's only one thread and it doesn't jump out at
you....
