Are you talking about me??? If so, I'll admit to STUPID. I mean really
STUPID!
I have very dry eyes and I use artificial tears all the time. I keep a
bottle in my desk drawer to use while I'm at the computer. When I picked up
the bottle yesterday to put a few drops in my eye, of course since I'm
always in a hurry I didn't look and put a few drops of lens cleaner in my
eye.
I knew immediately because it felt like liquid fire. Fortunately I did have
the tears in the drawer so I grabbed them and poured that in my eye. I
called the doctor's office and they said to just continue to flush it out as
often as I could. It's much better today and I don't think my vision has
been affected at all, but it is still red and my lid feels like it's been
through the mill.
Warning to all, look before you leap. Jeez, now I sound like my
mother------------ lol

We all have days like that. In February I went out to fill the
birdfeeders
and forgot to undo the secondary lock on the back door. Windy day
so whosh...the door slammed shut. Mom inside with cellulitis and
supposed to stay off her feet. I gesture to her I'll go around to the
front
door figuring it would be a shorter trip for her...but she goes to the
back
door.
Of course Mom tells the story of me locking the cellar door when I was
a toddler...locking her in the basement. Fortunately she could get
out
the garage and next door to the neighbor who called my dad. After
that
they gave the neighbor a key to our house.
