Remember how I just said I'd come to peace with not rushing my "And a
Forest Grew" and decided to forgo this year's state fair and wait until
next year? I was doing a normal Happy Dance because I finished it on
Friday night and left it at the LNS on Saturday night.
Well, imagine my surprise when the LNS called at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday!)
to say it was finished, ready for pickup. WHAT??!!?? I was prepared to
wait a week or two, since I was so late in getting it done. And today
just *happened* to be the "intake" day for state fair entries. So I ran
over to the LNS, picked it up, went right to the fairgrounds, and
entered it. And I was a nervous wreck about it for some reason. I think
I kind of had mental/emotional whiplash from things happening too fast!
Really, if I'd actually *intended* it, this never would have come together!
Now the waiting....
