I finished "The Marriage of Minds" this morning...put my initials and
date on it. Then I brought it to the Stitching Post and selected a
gorgeous frame and it's not *too* expensive to frame after all! (I'd
been dreading the framing bill). I decided not to mat it and let the
stitching "breathe" and speak for itself. I think it'll be
gorgeous...and well received. It's for a neighbor's daughter who married
last summer, so it'll be done around the time of their first
anniversary. Close enough!
Now I'm pledging (publicly!) to finish at least one UFO before I go to
pick up the framed piece and indulge myself in starting a new project!
I'm about halfway through Dimples Designs' "Shroomhilda", so I think
I'll dig that out...

I've been eying that piece - the entire line of mushroom charts just make me
smile!

Congratulations! Sounds like good timing for the gift. I haven't
started Shroomhilda but she is in my stash. She sure is cute!
