I haunt the Hoffman's and Norden's new release pages and I get the
newsletters from several shops. I don't add much to my wish lists lately,
but it a way to waste a few minutes.

I guess for me I read the tread magazine, Needlework Retailer, when I'm
hanging in the LNS. And, honestly, I don't worry about it. Sometimes there
are blurbs on the TNNA web-site that the public can get to. And the big
companies do annoucnements. You can look at Wichelt, etc. Also, Yarn Tree
distributes a lot of the "stuff" that goes with needlework. Many shops
split up their orders to get free shipping, etc using not just Norden or
Hofffman or Yarn Tree, solely.
You could also check out what's up on Tink Boord-Dill's site - she has some
designer chat groups, and forums.

Can you post the link for this please? I always mean to bookmark it
and don't.
As to the actual question, I try NOT to LOL! I have waaay too much in
my stash and too many hobbies as it is. Did I mention I've been
fooling around with my digital camera and have come up with some
pretty cool baseball pics? I'm especially proud of this one:

Sorry, I forgot to do this for you. But here's the link to the main page:
http://yarnandthreaddesigners.com/
I belonged to the group for a few years - it's got some great discussion,
and some just like anywhere else. But, I think you'd get some info and
contacts from it. When it first started there was a ton of e-mail traffic -
so I had to be sure it automatically went to it's own folder, and be
judicious in reading. Since we moved I haven't been on the group - but I'm
planning to get back to it.
