Good for you. I'm still struggling with a border for the master
Craftsman in Counted Thread. I can't let go of the "I want it to be
perfect." But I think I'm nearly past it in my head. I've got to get
to some real progress on this.
And I had my first exposure to real gold thread this weekend. Kimberly
Servello has a lovely Elizabethan purse that is all non-linear
blackwork and gold and she taught it at the Mid-Atlantic Regional
Smart Days in Culpeper, VA. I now have mastered the plaited braid
stitch with Kreinik. But I was attempting to do it with the gold and
ARGH! This is going to a challenge. We started a yahoogroup for
support and soon we may all be moaning there...
