All those forums want numbers and this 'linking' is done to make it
appear they have those numbers, generally because a prolific forum
generates money through advertising.
With one of my usenet groups we were 'linked' and in the end without
exception everytime a link cropped up we were rude in the extreme -
can you tell how quickly the 'linking' stopped then lol
It was annoying mostly because there was no continuity because half
the posters were in effect 'ghosts'. Plus people should not repost
peoples posts without at least asking or seeking their permission.
As I said, at best, appalling manners.

I will have to actually look. I have a few of these magazines so I might .
It is a magazine that had all types of needlework in it. Why is it wrong to
ask ?
