Naomah has agreed to stock the hologram threads I like, but I will need
to produce a sample to help her show them off to other customers.
I'd like a quick stitch like a freebie or a mini so that I can do two
variations on a mermaid, one with plain floss and one with hologram
thread, without spending forever stitching this up.
Anyone got any ideas?

Longtime lurker creeping out of the shadows......
How about one of Jennifer Aikman-Smith's Dragon Dreams freebies? I
know she has a small mermaid among her Christmyth assortment, as well
as other dragons, wyverns, etc which also might be suitable for your
hologram thread sample.

Just the size I had in mind -- something that stitches up a lot faster
than doing a Mirabilia mermaid twice! Thank you.
In fact, small as she is, I might do a floss, a floss+hologram, and a
multiple strands of hologram/no floss version to give the customers the
full range of possibilities.

LOL! Just the thought of that gives me the willies. It took me over
two years to do "Waiting for Ships." I loved doing it, but I'd not want
to do the same one again, especially when I've got 4 others in my stash!
