Hi everyone

I haven't stitched for about 3 years. I found a kit at The Stitchery that I
want to stitch for my niece called Father and Child. It's the more
expensive one. I prefer to stitch on Jobelan instead of Aida but when I
went to my local stitchery store, they were out of business! The kit has
ecru Aida and I would like to stay in the same color range because it's
monochromatic sepia color threads. Can anyone recommend an online source of
Jobelan fabric with lots of color choices? I tried Nordic Needle but they
only have about 4 or 5 choices. Any ideas?

Thanks!

kylou

Here are two links which I have used fairly recently. They give fast,
reliable service. I have found both companies have very friendly owners
who will chit-chat with you about the best color to use to match.
Probably best to compare the color of the Aida to a DMC floss. That is
always helpful, since photos don't always give a true shade.

just great)

http://www.downsunshinelane.com. ( This lady was emailing me back
and forth in mid-evening about some fabric I was selecting.)

In the past I bought a lot of fabric from www.silkweaver.com I think
these days they may specialize in hand-dyed stuff, but you can always
email them. I used to belong to the fabric of the month club, and there
was oodles of ordinary fabric.
