I must admit I want a skein of King Mackerel just for the name.

I was thinking the same thing about the Blue Heron. We see an
occasional Great Blue Heron while driving near the Applegate River and
some people living along the river or the major creeks actually have
nesting pairs once in a while.
Actually, I'd like to have about 5 skeins of each but that's not going
to happen any time soon. The new job has taken a big chunk out of my
stitching time anyway and the trigger finger I woke up with about 6
hours after leaving work last week isn't helping any. No one at work
has actually said the words: Carpal Tunnel, but I have a feeling that
is in my future too unless I get rotated to a different job soon. I
like the sanding OK, and the people I work with are very nice but my
body doesn't seem to like the intense repetitive activity. I'm hoping
that there are other jobs in my department (stuck in the same
department for 9 months) that, while still repetitive, aren't as
irritating to my hands. Oh well. It's nice to have a paycheck again
and to actually plan on finishing off some long extended bills.
We're just hoping that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't
another train. :-))))) At least the stitching that I DO get to work at
(about 15 minutes a day for now, helps keep me sane. :-)

I have several GBH in "the neighborhood" these days, so I'd take a skein of
that too. I love to watch them stalk their way around the local ponds and
have even seen them catch a few frogs.

Sorry about the trigger finger and really hope it's not carpal tunnel headed
your way. I feel the same way about what I'm doing. The kids are ok but the
standing all day is starting to get to me.
