DH and DS just drove away toward Lake Placid, NY; DS is spending two weeks
at hockey camp. They'll drive most of the way there tonight and finish in
time to check him in tomorrow. DH will take his time coming home on Sunday.
I spent a good piece of the last two days mending gear and the hockey bag.
And folding laundry. He's taken every pair of boxers and socks he owns. And
enough tee shirts to change those twice daily. He's supposed to do laundry,
but some how I doubt it. He will shower though - last year some one didn't
and was forcibly cleansed by the third day.
SO - DD and I will go out for sushi tonight - her request, she wants to go
to a "real" sushi place. And we'll have an adventure tomorrow of some sort.

sounds like fun! I wish I could get my DD to spend time with me. At
21 she thinks she can do without mom and live la vida wild!

My goodness!! Your DD is a very grown-up little girl to request sushi! I
am ten times older than her, and don't even like the look of it!! It
will be a nice "girl's vacation" during the weekdays. Now, will you get
her hooked on stitching, or gardening first??

DD has her own garden and loves it. We getting better with stitching.
We are also dog sitting at the moment, though I begin to wonder if the "real
plan" is to gradually make him ours, not the owner's. He travels a lot for
business and now that he's moved here, there is no kennel just up the road.
And he is the king of playing with the kids. We not sure who's walking who,
but when DD jingles that leash, the tail starts a wind storm.
