Hi Guys,
Well, I delivered my carload of stuff to the local "help" group who
has a collection center and was basically ignored whenever I tried to
ask a question. I was REALLY pissed off and so went to the church that
is closest to MOI to see if they were collecting stuff. Which they
were, of course :-).
Anyway, the church gave me a list of things to put into "Comfort
Kits" for men, women and small children. All the stuff must fit into a
1 gallon zip lock and you write on the bag who the stuff is for. What
they didn't specify was stuff for older kids or young teens -- I assume
the older teens would use the same stuff as the adults. Now, I can
figure out what to put into the kits (pretty much what is put in for the
adults except for shaving stuff) except for one thing. How old are boys
and girls -- IN GENERAL -- when they start to use deodorant? I'm old
enough that I haven't a clue and DD is old enough that I can't remember
when she started to need it -- LOL! Anyone out there with pre-teen or

early teen kids who can help me out here??? Thanks & CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Puberty. :-) Or just before. So for girls, that would mean the
average of age 12, for boys, about 14 or 15.
Of course, there will be personal differences, but that's the general
rule. We begin to become offensive when our hormones begin to rage. :-)

DS has been wearing deodorant since 12 - he needed too. And 10 year old
girls might need it too. Trust me - I've been around plenty of late of both
lately.

My friends who teach high school and junior high refer to puberty as
'hormone hell'. So you weren't far off. :)
