I just got this silly quote from the always logical Maxine in my e-mail and
it was just too perfect for those of us who were discussing saving dust
bunnies from extinction or having clean houses.


"Always keep several get well cards on the mantle.....
so if unexpected guests arrive, they will think you've been sick and unable
to clean."

My mother accidentally discovered how to get rid of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was the stage manager for the local am-dram group and was making a
wreath the presence of which was an integral part of their latest
production. There was a knock at the door so my mother answered the door
whilst holding the almost completed wreath in her hand. The Jehovah's
Witnesses saw the wreath, apologised for interrupting her grief and
quickly left...

Good scheme - even better if they take pity on you and clean for you!!!
