We are all used to seeing the word 'service' used with these agencies.

Revenue 'Service'
Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
Civil 'Service'
City, Provincial & Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'

If you are confused as to what the word 'service' actually means please
allow me to enlighten you;

Two farmers were talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to
'service' his cows.

It all comes into focus now doesn't it?
