Also, if you have an old version of PS Elements, then can't you upgrade it
rather than buying the new full version. FWIW, I see the PC version in
COSTCO all the time, and it's not very expensive - maybe $55 or so - more or
less.
I'm no use, as for very basic stuff I just use iPhoto, otherwise, I have the
Adobe graphics stuff, so I'm using elements or other software. But,
honestly on a daily basis I use iPhoto.

Thanks for the offer Cheryl, but it wasn't for any one particular thing. It
was just because I hadn't gotten around to doing anything to try to recreate
some of the photos that I lost when my other computer crashed.
