LOL - Lucille, I love you! Though there were some key words in that -
something about ladylike....I'm with you - I wonder if it's that common
heritage of arguing - err, I mean discussing all the meanings, possibilities
of something. I just don't like it when people seem to just be sniping,
mean in their comments - which easily happens when we're communicating via
electrons.
Well, can't believe I'm up early, even though we could be sleeping, and
already on my 2nd load of laundry. Something wrong with this picture. I'm
thinking of stitching - but it's all way downstairs, and the laundry way
upstairs. Today - no work - yeah. DH is skating pretty much all afternoon,
and I have to go pick up stuff from the electoral board (must have the
pollbooks in my personal possession thru election, then those and memory
cards go back via me as well). The election coming up on Tuesday is going
to be interesting. Extremely ugly, contentious gubernatorial race. The D
candidate's campaign was poorly run, and they didn't capitalize on the
fabulous recent past of the 2 prior governors, and had a weird relationship
with the White House (stupid campaign management). OTOH, the R candidate
has run a really long campaign, even when there was no republican primary he
had ads going. And has claimed attachment to the populous "yankee" part of
the state - i.e. Northern virginia. So, it's looking ugly here - and the
other elections that go with are bad. Plus, one of the congressional
districts has an unopposed candidate - which means write-in votes. Ugh.
So, I think I'll be having plenty of debate during the election.

Actually, on glass two - out of sorts tonight.. Had time alone to stitch and
had "Later with Jools Holland" to listen to while stitching, but didn't get
very far.
Drinking that second glass now...
