This morning we had snow and 70 km/hr winds, which drove the snow
horizontally. One of our company's regional managers started to drive west,
and had to turn back--it was an actual blizzard.
And how was your summer????

We had almost 90f today, extremely hot and humid. We're in the middle of a
serious drought so if you aren't too busy, I would love to have a couple of
cold, wet snow balls. The trees and plants are going wild with the sudden
heat wave, but please keep your wind so we don't have to deal with all the
pollen. I guess I should add that there were heavy storms all around us,
complete with loud thunder that was close enough to make Puff crazy, but not
a drop where I live.

I always think I miss winter and snow, but when I hear about blizzards in
the middle of May, I think I really must change my thinking.

Stay dry and warm and think summer.

Lucille

The snow is already headed East, but I think it will fall on Fred instead of
you. If you sent some sand, the wind would whooosh it away.

A few hours ago there was freezing rain and now it has turned into ice
pellets - nasty little devils that sting when they hit. I guess it is my
reward for putting away the snow blower and getting the grass mower ready
for summer.

With all the stores pulling pesticides from their shelves how are you people
out west going to cope with ice worms????
