Bad form, I know, but for anyone who's interested, I found the videos
and uploaded them to my webshots pets album (member name: ndjoan). I
also posted a pic of my weekend project: taming the perle cottons.
That one's in my stitchery album.

Spew warning, Dawne! Spew warning!!!!

It was plenty cool here this morning...still only 34 at 9:30am...but
at least the rain is holding off for now. Our road is horrible! The
frost heaves had just pushed up the gravel on our road when it started
raining last week. What a schloppy mess! I think we're supposed to
have drier days for the next few. The fields are so saturated that it
will be a miracle if the farmers get their fields planted at all this
spring. They're usually pretty much done by this time.

Thinking warm thoughts for all of you above the 49th parallel....

Oh, Dawne, I'm sorry - you must really be sick of it. OTOH, at least it's
still hockey weather. Something about going to these playoff games in the
heat bugs me.

My first year in Pittsburgh, after coming from Miami, I remember plowing
thru hip deep in the end of October thinking I was crazy. I got snow tires
for my car. Finally, in mid-April I took the snow tires off (bad on the
cobbled streets where I lived). 2 days later - blizzard. April 17. Not so
bad as May, but....

Weather is crazy here in DC area - very breezy - first coolish - 50s then
70s to low 80s then back to 40. We've cycled from heat to AC with no just
"windows" time in between. Of course, I could probably do windows today -
just got home from work - if I understaood how to bypass them with our alarm
system when not home and the alarm is set. Yes, dears, we do have an alarm
on the house - not being pretentious - it was done when built.
