The BBC is the prime news reporter for our country. If I was looking for
facts about events in another country I would go to their most trustworthy
News Media for a more reliable report.
BBC does at least TRY get it`s information from official sources, and
normally waits for confirmation before putting out wild exaggerations.
The Death toll, apparently, has now reached 49.
