at least 20+ years ago .
But when reading some of those pointers , i thought how little people
in the world Realize that a HUGE cultural war is indeed going on ,
every where ,
The terror[ist] powers , are using all our Democratic Liberal Free
rihts ,.to bash at all the free nations .

It is encouraging to hear about such widespread use of solar--is this a
national program or one that the city of Haifa has developed?

It seems to me that solar and wind are two natural sources of power
which really make sense; there is an inexhaustible supply of sun and
wind.. I know it will take a while to get them up and running, but it
would be something wonderful to look forward to. In a nearby county some
acreage has been bought up by the authorities, and an array of solar
panels will be erected. In Florida, the sun is shining most of the time.
Unlike some people, I think watching the wind turbines turning on the
hilltops is rather peaceful and lovely.

Sorry to ba a wet blanket, Gill, but solar and wind will never be a good
source of energy until we learn to store the output. For solar water
heaters, this happens automatically, so these work. In Perth, Australia,
they have a wind powered water desalination plant; terrific. At Yulari,
also in Australia, they use huge banks of rechargeable batteries. But
until we learn how to store electricity, or it's equivalent, on a huge
scale, wind and solar are extremely expensive toys the Greenies are
playing with. Jim.

There have been reports of some people living near wind farms experiencing
health issues, although why this should be is not yet understood. Wind
turbines are large new additions to the environment too.
