Part two - stashy gifting
Would you rather receive
charts in a theme (say spring)
charts by a favorite designer that you don't have yet
Charts by a designer that I've never seen but was the prefect choice
Or
A chart, with fibers and fabric all kitted up for you. Maybe needles too?

Living in the middle of nowhere with no LNS within a reasonable distance,
the chart with fibers and fabric all kitted up would be heaven.
Needles can be gotten at Michael's or Joann's, but their choices of fabric
and floss leaves much to be desired.

I'd say the latter 2 as my second choice. Hate the theme idea - but that's
me. And I'm not much of a cutesy or theme type stitcher.

Definitely my preference. This is what I've done mostly - especially if I
find a perfect fabric, or any specialty threads. Lets the recipient jump
right in, as opposed to being a gift that means you have to go spend/shop to
use it.
