Instead of trashy reading!
I got my copy of Embroidered Truths today at Barnes and Noble! and after
returning DS's trombone (with thanks and regrets), I wandered into a used
book store and emerged with Erica Wilson's NeedlePlay in library cover and
Counted Cross Stitch Patchwork Designs by Pat Farrell.
And at the library the new Earlene Fowler was in!

Now aside from my copy of "Japanese Wonder Shell", can I now officially
say that I am jealous of your copy of "Embroidered Truths"?
I will commence to start hounding my local Barnes & Noble and Borders
for it. Methinks I will be in trouble with Mary Monica's new turn and
"Half-Blood Prince" coming.

Oh! I am jealous! I once had the real shell - and lost it to dire damage. I
just have to keep my eyes open for a copy of the chart and a chance to find
another one of the real thing. You can buy the book any day now!
Half Blood Prince arrives while DS is away at hockey camp for 2 weeks. So,
DH will read it in a frenzy over 2-4 days with very little sleep. I'll read
it instead of doing house work after he's done. Then DS can take the rest of
the summer to read it!

Yippee!! I just found my copy of "Embroidered Truths" and am now dying
to see what Goddy will be up to now...
As for "Half-Blood Prince", I will probably finish within the first day
or two. That is assuming that I pick it up on the first day. I had
picked up "Order of the Phoenix" at a midnite release party with a
reservation. I probably had a number of chapters already read within
the wee hours of the nite. Fending DBF from the book until I am done is
another matter entirely.

I am saving Embroidered Truths for the night DH and DS take off to Lake
Placid to drop DS at two weeks of hockey camp. I can read all night if I
want!
