I swear nothing is as irritating as a fat lip, split lip etc.
BTW - I saw your pin cushion, looks great.
Tomorrow, I'm spending the day crafting when I don't have to take kids
somewhere.

Thanks. Now I'm not sure I want to give it away.
I guess I should admit that I cheated a little. I stuffed it with a little
pillow that was packaging for jewelry. I got rid of the box but tossed the
pillow into my box of "stuff." You know the pile of things you have
absolutely no use for but can't bring yourself to throw out on the off
chance they might come in handy some day.

Yes...
Along those lines - today I made an "urgent" run to the dealer as my check
engine light was on. (good thing as it was a real issue)
The part manager was trying to think of a use for all the high density foam
that packs around certain part. If it hadn't been greasy, it would have made
a great thing to make pin cubes and such.

OOOWWWWW!!!!!!!! Hugs! I'm glad it's feeling better today.
And, yes, I've done something stupid like that. I think I mentioned
this a couple years ago but I was working on a crochet project at the
time and was getting into the car, project bag on my arm, when the
wind blew the door shut on me. It jammed the hook (size E or F, iirc)
through my jeans into my thigh. I couldn't see where the hook was, so
I drove over to my parents and said, "Uuuhh, Mom? Can you help me get
this crochet hook out of my leg?" ROTFL! Once I got my jeans down
and could see which way it was facing, it came out easily. It was
only skin deep and didn't even bleed.
