Of course you remember there were no fancy covers for the spout or the
handle. IF you were crafty you would make the appropriate holes in the
right places for that specific teapot.
The cozy did NOT come off when tea was poured, so the bit of knitting
under the spout has a distinct discoloration due to the tannin in the tea.
