I have drug Mermaid of the Pearls out of the UFO basket and will be
trying to make a dent in her over the holiday weekend. The year of the
divorce, when all my so-called friends thought their romantic weekend
was more important than my Friday birthday, I did a dedicated Stitching
Weekend and got her about half-done. Then abandoned her.
Lying in the bubble bath the other night, I realized that the spot where
she's supposed to go looks awfully bare, so we'll see how much of it I
can complete this weekend. I don't feel well enough to stitch 18 hours
a day as I did then, but I'm hoping to at least get to the scroll roll.
Who's going to join me in a UFO Weekend? And what's your UFO of choice?

I'll try and finish a bookmark of hollyhocks, but since I'm working Saturday
and Sunday (and maybe Monday), I'll be doing that.
And if Monday is nice, I want some garden time...

Oh that sounds nice. Unfortunately my UFO's this weekend are laundry
and an on-line course assignment. This would be a good weekend for
it. Rain rain rain.
Maybe in 3 more weeks when I'm finished the course. I've got one
cross stitch project on which I only have 3 rows done, same as last
year about this time. Jardin de Bagatelle. That would be good to
work on.
