I see the morons have taken over the group once again. I was so
interested in hearing what everyone was working on, now that subject
has disappeared. C'mon back.

I finally finished DM's pillow top. I will never do bullions
again. Also finished the border of an Xmas ornament
from last Xmas. Satin stitch on 32 ct. Now to figure
out what's next. Don't want to get the "vacation"
projects done before we leave.
BTW....are you folks in the Maritimes ready for Bill?
DM would like to be in Acadia NOW for the surf
that's likely to hit New England.

I always love anything Christmas and like to do an ornament for the
grandkids each year. We're getting ready for *Bill* - I don't think
we'll get it as bad as dear Sheena, but we'll get a good dose of rain
and high wind I'm sure. If it takes away this horrible humidity we've
had all summer, I might welcome *him* with open arms. :-)

I'm thinking of dropping both piece I've been rotating and picking up
something little to work on. I have a snowflake kit around someplace I could
do.
Thanks for the good idea.

I'm happy dancing because I *finally* finished "And a Forest Grew" - not
in time for this year's state fair, but there'll be another next year. I
took it to the LNS on Saturday for framing.
The last few bits 'n' bobs took FOREVER and the more I worked on it, the
more elusive the final stitch became. That's because of the umpteen
birds that each needed one stitch for an eye, then one stitch for a
beak, then two stitches on tiny trees for trunks, etc. A hundred
instances of refer to chart, find appropriate color floss, thread
needle, one stitch, bury threads, snip, repeat. Ay, yay, yay!
I changed the verses and am quite please with the result. I'll try to
get a photo to post when I get it back from the framer.
And, of course, since I finished that on Friday night, I had nothing
lined up to take to the LNS for stitchin night on Saturday, so I kitted
up *three* smaller projects to start! And bought two more charts while
there....it never ends, does it?
Now back to a crochet project that has to be finished in two weeks. But
when it's 90+ degrees and 100% humidity, the last thing I want is a
blanket on my lap! Even if it is a cotton blend baby blanket!
