Hi all,
It looks like some of us locals are finally converged on a date to have an
outing to Woodlawn.
Donna, Ericka, maybe Sue W (depending on her jury duty) and I will be going
to the Needlework Exhibition on Tuesday, 3/20. Joiners welcome - of course.
There are directions to Woodlawn on their website,
http://www.woodlawn1805.org/
No information about the needlework show, but that's another story. You can
find info about it with some googling.
Time will affect our outing to In Stitches - though it's likely we'll at
least be able to stop in!

Are you going to be there around lunch time? A friend and I are driving
down from Pa on that day and should get there around 10:30 or 11:00. We are
planning on having lunch in the tea room at the house (assuming they have it
set up as usual this year). We are coming down just for Woodlawn and are
definately planning to go to In Stitches. This is her first time at either
place but I try and get down every year. Are any of you exhibiting anything
there? Even if I don't get to meet you I like trying to find the pieces of
people I 'know'. I don't post here very often anymore but I still try and
keep up with what is happening.

The current plan is to be there around 10 (although I'm lately always late
getting to Donna's). We are planning to do lunch in the tea room, and have
to leave there to be back in this area by 3:30. So we should make In
Stitches, but who knows.

I have a piece in, small sampler about 5" by 10" (I think it's 9 X 14 with
the frame). But no delusions about its grandeur, or awards.

Hopefully we will run into you somewhere in the house then but if not I will
look for your sampler. I have two friends who did get ribbons so I will be
looking for their work and I will add yours to my list as well.
