Years ago ,, in an other century ,,,,, i made 2 cushions with a
[classical] appliqued hexagon made out of smaller hexagons ,,,,,,,,
time went by and usage, washing took their toll from this and now both
cushions and esp the Cotton applique is frayed ,,,, ,,,,
I washed it cut the hexagons +background off the old cushions, [ the
good parts from one will be used by a quilter coleague , the other one
is a lost case and will become a Window cleaning cloth.
Now i have those 2 hexagons , as backgrounds and i strated to
embroider over them a bit with machine Zizag than slowly i am building
embroidery over the frayed parts ,,, they have become a symbol to the
our EARTH ,, that we use and use .....i plant little stiches and
beads that look likelittle bushes and trees.
