Hello fellow stitchers,

It has been a few years since Venus brand thread came onto the market.

Has anybody had the chance to check the back of work done with this
thread to let us all know how light fast the dyes really are?

I am especially interested in the green shades, to substitute for
discontinued Eva Rosenstand floss where neither Anchor nor DMC provide
a good enough match.

Thanks in advance--Irene

When i am going to use a New To Me thread i cut off a piece wet it in
hot water and lay it to dry on white tissue paper ,,,, if there is
even a sign of leak it will show ,,, i also hang a piece for some days
in the sun,,,,, our`s is strong enough , if it doesn`t fade after some
SUN days ,,,, i think it will be ok ..
