I was just poking around some of my favorite sites, and found that the
Mirabilia 2006 free pattern is up. And she's lovely.

I noticed some similarity to past angels. BUT the one this year, with
its dark colors and theme of light, is perfect for a very dear friend
who walking through the shadowlands this season due to family issues. So
I started it last night and hope to finish it for her in time for Christmas.
OTOH, last night I finished MLI's complimentary Christmas infant from
2004 for a friend for whom I make an ornament each year - usually an
angel. This year she celebrated her first grandchild's birth. The space
in the top of the design seemed a little empty, so I added the words
"for unto us a child is born." This will be a most special Christmas
indeed for her family as the Christmas story takes on added dimension
with a baby in the house!

I thought it looked like 2004, with a difference being the candle vs
snowflake thing. And not being someone who carries DMC colors in my head,
couldn't see the difference. But, I'll trust you, Sue. It is nice.

You're so right. I like the 2001 cherub as a baby gift as well.
