Before anyone can join, they have to ask. Almost daily I have
spammers trying to join, they say things like "I think you work is
beautiful, I like to share" and that's easy to spot. dkfhry asked to
join and the request was nicely made and I almost believe it but it
doesn't mention rctn and it also, which is unusual, does not allow me
to respond to it. There have been occasions when I emailed back and
found the person was perfectly genuine.

So I figured, put it here and if dkfhry was around, she would then say
the magic word lol

So if you would like to join rctnp (which is where we can put pics of
our work rctn being a text only group) go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RCTNP/
and ask to join - mentioning you saw it here.

Or the ones who merely say "join me". Join you in doing what? Because
if you don't say the magic word for that group, I don't expect you to be
able to participate in the discussions.

Fortunately, I moderate a bunch of groups. So when MariJones shows up
in my e-mail as trying to join six at once, that alone gives me
suspicions.
