No, no, The easy way to do it is you go in there with three large trash
bags. One for stuff to go into the actual trash, one for stuff to go to
the charity shop and one for stuff which is good, and for which you paid
good money, and which you will "sell" back to them in return for good
behavior. Of course, it may take more than one trash bag per room, but
just go in there and start, don't stop to think or consider, just sort
it out fast and get the job done. P.s., if you are really mad at them,
you could always launder the decent stuff then take it to the
consignment shop, so either you make a profit or they have to buy it bck
themselves out of their allowance.

I suppose you could always take photographs of the room in its "black
hole" state and threaten to publicise them at some unspecified time in
the future. I still have a hit squad looking for any release of
photographs of myself aged about four wearing a knitted woolen bathing
suit with a penguin motif....
