However, there have been complaints on alt.sewing that Verizon is
blocking all Usenet posts, and will not even allow access to
eternal-september, apparently because the State Attorney of New York
State found some naughty posts on half a dozen sites, and demanded that
they all be blocked.
Those of you in N.Y. State with Verizon may wish to check this out.

When my ISP stopped backing usenet I first used datemas which was very
good then faltered, then switched to motzarella. However my ISP
kicked back in and I reverted. When it crashed again I decided (since
I use Agent) I would go with their new service apn for $2.98 per
month, it has worked flawlessly. One advantage is it gives me back
the binary groups.
So although I cracked up Motz to Lucille, I didn't practice what I
preached lol

If I weren't so cheap I wouldn't be using it either, but as far as free
goes, it's about the best out there. LOL

Just wanted to say that my pwrd came, and I was able to configure the reader
successfully - so, yeah, and thanks to Lucille for the idea. Plus, also to
Cheryl who sent me the link as well.
